This is less a collector's edition and more a collector's intervention. Resident Evil 6 Archives for Xbox 360 comes in a standard case with a slipcover and packs an absurd amount of Resident Evil into one package: the Resident Evil: Degeneration DVD film, plus download codes for Resident Evil 4 HD, Resident Evil CODE: Veronica X HD, Resident Evil 5, and the Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition content.

That's essentially four full games, a feature film, and the base RE6 experience in a single retail purchase. For Xbox 360 collectors, this is a snapshot of the franchise at a pivotal moment, right when Capcom was bridging its survival horror roots with its action-heavy future. RE4 HD alone justifies shelf space. CODE: Veronica X HD gives you one of the most underappreciated entries in the series. And RE5's Gold Edition content rounds out the co-op era nicely.

The slipcover elevates this above a standard budget compilation. It signals intent. Capcom knew they were packaging legacy content for people who cared about the full picture, not just the latest release. As a single object on your shelf, Archives represents an entire console generation's worth of Resident Evil evolution.

If your 360 collection has a Resident Evil shaped hole, this is the most efficient and satisfying way to fill it.
