Same game, completely different collector's edition philosophy. This second variant of the Metal Gear Rising Revengeance Limited Edition on Xbox 360 trades the figure for atmosphere, and the result is a package that appeals to an entirely different kind of collector.

The high-frequency katana blade plasma lamp is the undeniable star here. It's Raiden's signature weapon, reimagined as a glowing desk piece that looks like it belongs in a cyberpunk apartment. Plug it in, watch it glow, and try to explain to anyone who walks into your room why you have a plasma lamp shaped like a sword. Actually, don't explain. They either get it or they don't.

The limited edition two-sided steelbook gives the game a premium home that puts the standard Amaray case to shame. Steelbooks from the 360 era have their own dedicated collector following, and this one features artwork that leans into Rising's kinetic, blade-heavy aesthetic. The official soundtrack on CD rounds things out, preserving one of the most aggressively memorable soundtracks of the generation. "Rules of Nature" deserves better than a Spotify stream.

This variant leans hard into the display and lifestyle angle. Where the figure edition says "I'm a collector," this one says "I'm building a vibe." The plasma lamp alone is a conversation starter that transcends gaming memorabilia. Combined with the steelbook and the soundtrack, it's a set that rewards the collector who values shelf presence and atmosphere over articulated plastic. Both Revengeance LEs are worth chasing. This one just glows in the dark.
