The Metal Gear Rising Revengeance Premium Package on Playstation 3 is the domestic Japanese edition, and it traded the Western market's Play Arts Kai figure for something far more charming: a pair of miniature Gekko figures with built-in magnets. Yes, the little Metal Gear units that skitter around like mechanical livestock in MGS4 and Rising.

They're magnetized so you can stick them to metal surfaces, which means your refrigerator is about to become a warzone. The package also includes a music CD and a booklet, keeping things tight and curated in that distinctly Japanese collector's edition style. The Gekko figures are the kind of pack-in that only Kojima Productions would greenlight.

They're playful, slightly absurd, and deeply in-universe, a perfect match for a game that reveled in over-the-top spectacle. Rising's soundtrack is one of the most aggressively memorable scores of the PS3 era, so having it on physical disc is a genuine bonus for anyone who's ever had "Rules of Nature" stuck in their head for a week straight.
