James Cameron's Avatar The Game (Limited Collector's Edition)
REGION 2

They gave us a full Na'vi figurine and called it a day. James Cameron's Avatar The Game Limited Collector's Edition on Playstation 3 arrives in an oversized cardboard box housing a 6-inch Jake Sully figurine crafted by Mattel, alongside six unlockable weapon packs containing four weapons each. This is the heavy hitter of the Avatar game releases, the one that went all-in on physical goods during the PS3's golden age of stuffing boxes with actual things you could hold.

The Mattel figurine is the centerpiece here, and it's worth noting that Avatar merchandise from this era has become increasingly sought after as the franchise expanded into theme parks and sequels. That 6-inch Jake in his human form captures a very specific moment in the IP's history, before the blue skin became the default marketing image. The oversized box means shelf presence is undeniable.

It towers over standard PS3 cases and commands attention in any collection display. Six weapon packs versus the Special Edition's three also means you're getting the complete in-game arsenal, making this the definitive version for anyone who actually wants to play through both campaign paths. Sealed copies with intact boxes are getting harder to source as cardboard packaging from this generation continues to age poorly in storage.

We all know the drill with PS3 collector's editions and their flimsy outer boxes. If you find one in clean condition, that's the real collector's premium right there.
