The European take on the Tomb Raider Collector's Edition for Xbox 360 came loaded with its own distinct personality, and collectors who've tracked down both regional variants know exactly why that matters. Same reboot, same incredible game, but a different curatorial eye behind the package.

You still get the Play Arts Kai Lara Croft figurine, because some things are non-negotiable. The double-sided island map and poster is here too, along with the CD soundtrack. But this variant swaps the artbook and survival pouch for a lithographic print and a set of three iron-on badges featuring the game's key icons. There's something wonderfully old-school about iron-on badges, like the publisher remembered that collectors were once kids who customized everything they owned.

The DLC loadout is beefier on this one. You're getting the Animal Instincts upgrade, a climbing axe, fire arrows, and the weapons pack. That's a meaningful in-game boost that goes beyond the cosmetic. For players who wanted their collector's edition to actually change the gameplay loop from the first boot, this variant delivered.

What makes this edition collectible today isn't just the contents, it's the regional scarcity factor. PAL-region CEs from the 360 era have a way of quietly disappearing from the market while everyone focuses on the North American releases. The disc-era collectors who understand that regional variants are where the real hunt lives will appreciate what this package represents. Two versions of the same CE, both worth owning, neither one redundant.
