Call of Juarez: The Cartel (Outlaw Edition)
Bandanas and dog tags. That's how you knew a mid-2000s to early-2010s shooter was serious about its special edition. The Call of Juarez: The Cartel Outlaw Edition on Xbox 360 delivered exactly that, plus a Tactical Machine Pistol DLC unlock.
The black branded bandana is the kind of wearable swag that's become genuinely scarce. Most of these ended up in costume bins or got tossed with the packaging, making a sealed or complete Outlaw Edition a quiet find. The dog tags carry that era's obsession with military-adjacent physical goods, but filtered through the Cartel's modern-day Western lens, giving them a slightly different identity than the dozens of other tagged-up shooter editions from the same period.
Techland went with two distinct special editions for this title, and the Outlaw Edition is the one with more personality on the physical side. The bandana and tags display well together, and they tell a more interesting story than a slip of DLC code ever could. If you're the type of collector who appreciates the tactile side of the hobby, the stuff you can actually hold, this is a 360-era curiosity worth tracking down.
