Call Of Duty: Ghosts Prestige Edition

Activision strapped a literal camera to the Prestige Edition and dared us to wear it. The Call Of Duty: Ghosts Prestige Edition for PlayStation 3 centers on a full HD 1080p tactical camera, a wearable, water-resistant, wide-angle mounted unit modeled after the in-game helmet cam. It ships with three attachments, a 4GB memory card, batteries, and editing software.
That's a functional piece of hardware inside a video game box. Beyond the camera, there's a SteelBook case, a paracord strap that doubles as a survival bracelet, the Free Fall bonus map, a full season pass covering four DLC packs, and digital extras including a player pattern, card, background, and the official soundtrack. This was peak PS3-era excess in the best possible way.
The console wars generation loved one-upping each other with premium SKUs, and the Prestige Edition was Activision's nuclear option. That tactical camera is the conversation piece, a genuine gadget that exists nowhere else in gaming collector circles. The paracord strap adds a tactical-chic element that's aged surprisingly well.
Finding one of these complete with all accessories and the camera still boxed is the kind of hunt that keeps collectors up at night.
