Zone of the Enders HD Collection Limited Edition

Hideo Kojima's mecha masterpiece got the HD treatment, and Konami made sure collectors noticed. The Zone of the Enders HD Collection Limited Edition on PlayStation 3 bundles both ZOE titles with a 100-page exclusive artbook, a soundtrack CD, and a demo of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. That artbook is where this edition earns its keep.
A hundred pages of Yoji Shinkawa's mechanical designs, character illustrations, and production art from a franchise that never got the mainstream attention it deserved. Shinkawa's linework is iconic in the Metal Gear world, but his ZOE designs might be his most ambitious, all flowing organic curves merged with hard-edged mecha geometry. The soundtrack CD preserves some of the most underrated compositions from the PS2 era, music that oscillated between orchestral bombast and electronic tension in ways that perfectly matched Jehuty's combat.
And then there's the Revengeance demo, a fascinating time capsule of cross-promotional strategy that Konami leaned into heavily during this period. Zone of the Enders has always been the cult classic in Kojima's catalog, the series that dedicated fans bring up whenever someone claims they've played everything he's made. This Limited Edition is the physical proof of that devotion.
It's a PS3 remaster package that treated its source material with reverence, giving collectors an artbook and soundtrack worthy of display rather than the throwaway pack-ins that plagued lesser HD collections.
