The Mass Effect Trilogy on Playstation 3 brought together Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3 for collectors who wanted the complete Shepard experience without hunting down each title separately. This was BioWare's magnum opus condensed into one case, and for PS3 owners specifically, it was the first time Mass Effect 1 was even available on the platform. That alone made this collection a milestone.

The trilogy format hits a collector nerve that individual titles simply can't, giving your shelf a sense of narrative completeness.
