Mass Effect Trilogy

Three games. One trilogy. The entire saga of Commander Shepard in a single PS3 package.
The Mass Effect Trilogy on Playstation 3 brought together Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3 for collectors who wanted the complete Shepard experience without hunting down each title separately. This was BioWare's magnum opus condensed into one case, and for PS3 owners specifically, it was the first time Mass Effect 1 was even available on the platform. That alone made this collection a milestone.
The trilogy format hits a collector nerve that individual titles simply can't, giving your shelf a sense of narrative completeness. Every choice, every squad mate lost, every Reaper confrontation, all contained in one tidy package from the disc-based era when physical compilations still mattered. For those of us who agonized over the Genophage cure or spent way too long calibrating with Garrus, this set is a monument to one of gaming's greatest RPG sagas.
The PS3 version carries its own identity in the console wars conversation, and having all three discs together is the kind of clean, definitive collection that ages well on any shelf.
