Middle-earth's northern war got a SteelBook, and it brought swords. The Lord of the Rings: War in the North SteelBook Edition for PC packages Snowblind Studios' action-RPG in a metal case alongside two in-game weapon unlocks: the Stinger Sword and Anduril, the Flame of the West. Anduril needs no introduction to Tolkien fans.

It's the reforged blade of Narsil, Aragorn's legendary weapon, and having it as a usable in-game item ties the game directly to the larger fellowship narrative even though War in the North tells its own story set in the north of Middle-earth. The Stinger Sword adds a second exclusive blade to your arsenal. The SteelBook case itself is the real shelf piece here, giving this often-overlooked Lord of the Rings title a premium physical presence it wouldn't otherwise have.

War in the North was the first M-rated Lord of the Rings game, bringing a grittier co-op experience to the franchise, and this SteelBook treatment reflects that darker tone. For Tolkien collectors and LOTR gaming completionists, this PC SteelBook is an easy miss if you're not paying attention, and that's precisely what makes it worth tracking down.
