Rage Anarchy Edition

The one that started the whole Rage limited edition chain. The Rage Anarchy Edition on PC was the "first edition" treatment, meaning every pre-ordered copy of the game automatically shipped as the Anarchy Edition. Inside you get the one-handed Double Barrel Shotgun, Fists of Rage knuckledusters, Rat Rod Buggy combat vehicle, and the Crimson Elite Armour that merges all three in-game suits into one.

It launched across Canada, Europe, Germany, and the UK in October 2011. Here's the wrinkle that makes certain copies more collectible than others: if you pre-ordered through GAME France or select Spanish stores, you received a bonus Rage SteelBook as a separate unsealed item in G1 size. That SteelBook add-on turns a standard Anarchy Edition into something considerably rarer.

The Anarchy Edition itself is the most common Rage variant, which makes it the foundation piece for any Rage collection rather than the crown jewel. But "common" is relative when we're talking about a 2011 PC release that most people bought digitally. Physical copies have been thinning out steadily for years.
