Max Payne 3 Special Edition
Rockstar doesn't do subtle, and the Max Payne 3 Special Edition on Xbox 360 proves it. Standing ten inches tall, the collectible Max Payne statue, crafted through a collaboration between TriForce and Rockstar Games, captures Max in all his grim, world-weary glory. It's a display piece with genuine weight and presence.
Alongside the statue, you get a series of original still life art prints depicting Max's inner demons and vices, the kind of dark, moody artwork that feels pulled straight from the game's noir-drenched atmosphere. Then there's the bullet keychain, copper and brass-plated iron shaped like an actual round with a screw-off back. It's functional, it's morbid, and it's perfect.
The digital side includes a Classic Multiplayer Character Pack with eight playable characters from across the Max Payne trilogy, bringing back legends like Mona Sax and Vladimir Lem. Max Payne 3 was Rockstar proving they could take a beloved franchise to a completely new setting and make it work. The Sao Paulo sun replaced New York snow, but the bullet time and the pain remained.
This Special Edition captures the transition perfectly, honoring the series history through the character pack while the physical goods lean into the darker, grittier third chapter. That statue has only gotten harder to find complete and undamaged, and the art prints are the sort of thing you frame rather than file away. Noir collectors, take note.
