Grasshopper Manufacture's first editions always reward the early adopters. The Killer Is Dead First Edition on PlayStation 3 arrives packed with a 25-track soundtrack CD, an 82-page full-color hardcover artbook, and the Smooth Operator DLC pack featuring bonus Episode 51, a Gigolo mission with Betty, additional costumes for Vivienne and Mika, and the infamous Gigolo Glasses. The hardcover artbook is the standout here, 82 pages of Grasshopper's signature stylized visuals bound in a format that feels premium in a way soft-cover pack-ins never do.

The studio's art direction under Suda51 has always leaned into bold contrasts and graphic novel aesthetics, and this book delivers that in spades. Akira Yamaoka's 25-track soundtrack captures the game's noir-action atmosphere, and having it on a dedicated CD rather than a download code is exactly the kind of physical media commitment we appreciate. The DLC pack adds meaningful gameplay content rather than throwaway cosmetics, with a full bonus episode and additional mission expanding the experience.

This First Edition occupies that collector-friendly space where the contents genuinely enhance the package without inflating the box size into something unwieldy. It sits cleanly on a shelf, looks sharp, and delivers substance. For Grasshopper completists, it's essential.
