They made a silk tie. An actual woven silk Octodad necktie, packaged in a red and metallic silver box, bundled with the game. This is real. Limited Run #11: Octodad: Dadliest Catch Dad Edition for PlayStation Vita includes the physical cartridge limited to 3,500 copies, but only 1,500 Dad Editions exist total, split between PS4 and Vita at 750 each.

Octodad is a game about an octopus pretending to be a human father, flailing through everyday tasks with tentacles masquerading as limbs. It's absurd, it's hilarious, and it somehow became one of the most endearing indie games of its generation. The Dad Edition leans all the way into the joke. You get the game, you get the tie, you get to tell people you own formal octopus neckwear.

Seven hundred and fifty units on Vita. That number alone should make any handheld collector's ears perk up. The Vita physical market has become one of the most competitive spaces in game collecting, and early Limited Run numbers are the foundation of that entire ecosystem. Number 11 is deep in the early catalog.

The tie transforms this from a game release into a genuine collector's artifact. It's wearable, it's weird, and it's limited enough that most people will never see one in person. For Vita collectors, dad joke enthusiasts, and anyone who appreciates when a publisher commits fully to the bit, this is the one.
