Fable II Game of the Year Edition

Albion never really let go of us, did it. Fable II Game of the Year Edition on Xbox 360 rolls in the Knothole Island and See the Future expansions alongside the base game, locking down the complete Fable II experience on a single disc. Peter Molyneux promised us the world with this franchise, and while the delivery was always a little sideways, Fable II came closest to that grand vision of moral consequence and goofy British charm wrapped in an action RPG.

Knothole Island added a full new region with weather-altering quests, while See the Future delivered the Colosseum and let us glimpse our hero's bloodline going forward. This was prime console-wars-era 360 content, when Microsoft exclusives actually meant something in the living room argument. For collectors building out the 360's exclusive library, the GOTY Edition is the only version worth owning.

Everything on disc, nothing left to chance with marketplace delistings. It sits on the shelf as the full, complete statement Lionhead intended, and that matters more now than it did at launch.
