Enslaved deserved better, and this Collector's Edition at least gave it a proper send-off. The Enslaved Odyssey to the West Collector's Edition for Xbox 360 includes a 48-page art book packed with concept art and exclusive images, plus the original soundtrack written and produced by Nitin Sawhney. Ninja Theory's post-apocalyptic reimagining of Journey to the West was visually stunning, and the art book captures the lush, overgrown world-building that set Enslaved apart from every other action game in 2010.

The concept art reveals just how much thought went into the environmental storytelling, from crumbling cityscapes reclaimed by nature to the expressive character designs that Andy Serkis helped bring to life through motion capture. Sawhney's soundtrack is the other anchor here. His score walks a line between melancholy and hope that perfectly mirrors the game's tone, and having it on a physical disc is a genuine treat.

This Collector's Edition doesn't overreach. It gives you two high-quality extras that deepen your appreciation of a game that was criminally overlooked at launch. For 360 collectors who gravitate toward cult classics and hidden gems, Enslaved's CE belongs on the short list.

The game's commercial underperformance only makes the physical edition harder to find, and that scarcity is starting to show.
