Sometimes the collector's edition is the game, and sometimes it's everything around the game. This was Codemasters going all-in on the partnership with rally legend Ken Block, packaging DiRT 3 alongside a full RC car modeled after his iconic Gymkhana machine.

We're not talking about a little die-cast trinket. This was a functional, branded remote-control car that turned a racing game release into an event. The Xbox 360 generation loved its oversized collector's bundles, from night vision goggles to replica helmets, and the DiRT 3 RC Car Bundle sits comfortably in that upper tier of "they actually made this" releases.

Finding one complete in box today is a genuine hunt. The car alone has become a collector's item independent of the game, which means plenty of these got split up over the years, box discarded, car on a shelf, game traded in. A complete set tells a different story.

It says you understood what Codemasters was doing and you kept the whole thing together. For racing game collectors and Ken Block fans alike, this bundle is a time capsule of mid-gen excess at its finest.
