Three Gold Battlepacks and an entire expansion baked right into the box. The Battlefield 4 Deluxe Edition on Xbox 360 gave early adopters the China Rising expansion pack alongside a trio of Gold Battlepacks loaded with weapon accessories, dog tags, knives, XP boosts, and character customization items. This was the multiplayer head start that mattered.

Battlefield 4 was the last true BF title that lived and breathed on the 360, and it pushed that hardware to places it probably shouldn't have gone. 64-player aspirations squeezed onto last-gen silicon, levolution events crumbling buildings around you mid-firefight. The Deluxe Edition put you ahead of the curve from day one, with Gold Battlepacks delivering the tier of unlocks that standard players had to grind matches to earn.

The China Rising expansion is the real collector's note here. Four additional maps, new vehicles, and new assignments, all on-disc or code-redeemable without navigating a modern storefront. In an era where live service games rotate content in and out of availability, having an expansion physically tied to your copy feels like a preservation act.

For 360 Battlefield collectors, the Deluxe Edition is the version that signals you were there at launch, not picking through bargain bins two years later. The packaging differentiates it on the shelf, and the included content differentiates it in the library. This is the entry point for a BF4 collection done right.
