Cannon Dancer - Osman Collector's Edition (Nintendo Switch)
Strictly Limited Games

One of the rarest arcade games ever made, finally in your hands with a collector's package worthy of its legend. The Cannon Dancer - Osman Collector's Edition for Nintendo Switch is a Strictly Limited Games exclusive, capped at 2,000 individually numbered copies worldwide. This is the first time Cannon Dancer has ever been ported to a home console, and the edition they've built around it treats the occasion with the gravity it deserves.

Cannon Dancer's backstory is the stuff of collector mythology. Former Capcom developers left for Mitchell Corp. in the early 90s and created this action platformer with a Persian-Arabian aesthetic, acrobatic combat, and psychedelic boss encounters. It released in limited quantities in Japanese and US arcades in 1996, and the circuit boards have commanded staggering sums ever since. People have spent years hunting down functioning arcade cabinets. This release makes that hunt unnecessary.

The Collector's Edition box features a magnetic closure and is packed dense. You get the game on cartridge with an exclusive cover by Yotsui-san, a colorful manual, an A5 arcade flyer, a reversible A2 poster, arcade marquee stickers, an extensive B5 material book documenting the development process, a metal photo and calendar frame with Kirin and the Cannon Dancer logo, the 20-track OST on CD mastered directly from the game, a diorama of the final battle with the Teki, a traditional tenugui cloth illustrated by Kogure-sama, and a metal arcade coin stamped with the kanji for "nothing." That last item carries genuine thematic weight, referencing Kirin's nihilistic motivation.

Six stages, three power-up types, rewind and save features for modern accessibility. This is arcade history, preserved and presented properly.
