Back to the Future: The Game Deluxe Edition
TellTale Games9/29/2011

Doc Brown's flux capacitor sketches, in your hands. Back to the Future: The Game Deluxe Edition on PC collects all five Telltale episodes alongside a Collector's Edition DVD packed with behind-the-scenes content. The DVD chronicles the game's entire development through five in-depth videos featuring commentary from the artists and designers, plus cinematic trailers and character profiles for Marty, Doc, and the Tannens.

Then there's the exclusive compendium artwork, including sketches for the original flux capacitor, the rocket drill, the canine retrieval apparatus, and even a short sonnet. These are the kind of in-universe extras that make a collector's edition feel like it belongs in the franchise, not just next to it. Telltale's BTTF game nailed the tone of the films in ways nobody expected, and this Deluxe Edition preserves the creative process behind that achievement.

Physical Telltale releases are a closed chapter now, and the Deluxe tier with its expanded extras sits above the standard Collector's Edition in the hierarchy. For BTTF collectors who already have the Blu-rays, the Funko Pops, and the replica hoverboard, this fills a different slot entirely. It's the deep cut.
