Back to the Future: The Game Collector's Edition
TellTale Games9/29/2011

Telltale brought Marty and Doc back to life, and this edition packages the journey properly. Back to the Future: The Game Collector's Edition on PC includes all five episodes for both PC and Mac alongside a Collector's Edition DVD that dives deep into the game's creation. The DVD features a behind-the-scenes series of five videos with commentary from the development team, cinematic trailers for every episode, and profile videos covering Marty, Doc, and the Tannens.

You also get exclusive compendium artwork that bridges the gap between the films and the game's visual identity. This sits just below the Deluxe Edition in the lineup, trading some of the more esoteric extras for a tighter, more focused package. What it retains is everything that matters.

The development documentary content alone offers a window into how Telltale approached one of cinema's most beloved properties. Physical PC editions from Telltale's golden era have a quiet collectibility to them. The studio's closure turned every boxed release into a finite artifact, and licensed properties like Back to the Future carry an extra layer of demand.

This Collector's Edition doesn't try to overwhelm you with plastic. It trusts the content to do the work, and it does.
