Undercover Cops Collector's Edition (SNES)

NINTENDO SWITCH
Undercover Cops Collector's Edition (SNES)
Limited Run Games

A translucent orange SNES cartridge in 2024. That's real. Undercover Cops Collector's Edition for SNES is a love letter to a beat-em-up that most Western players never got to experience on Nintendo's 16-bit hardware.

This City Sweeper Edition from Retro-Bit (or similar) goes all in. You get the translucent orange cartridge, hard-embossed City Sweeper packaging, an outer slipcover with exclusive artwork, a collectible SNES cartridge box, full-color instruction manual, a sticker set, certificate of authenticity, a Rosa Felmonde vinyl figure, exclusive double-sided poster, identification profile cards with envelope, and a Crazy Chicken acrylic keychain. That's an absurd amount of content for a retro release, and every piece feels like it was designed by someone who actually played the arcade original.

Undercover Cops is an Irem classic that lived in arcades and on the Super Famicom but barely touched Western SNES consoles. Having it now in a premium collector's format, on an actual SNES cartridge you can slot into original hardware, is the kind of thing that would've melted our brains back when we were blowing dust out of cartridge slots after school. The vinyl figure, the profile cards, the embossed packaging.

This isn't just a game release. It's a museum piece for your shelf that you can still actually play.
