Naughty Dog's farewell to Nathan Drake started here, and they dressed it up nicely for the occasion. The Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Special Edition on Playstation 4 is the more refined sibling in the Uncharted 4 lineup, built around a SteelBook designed by Alexander "That Kid Who Draws" Iaccarino whose hand-drawn style gives the case a personality most SteelBooks can only dream of. It feels less like packaging and more like a piece of commissioned art.

The 48-page hardcover mini art book, produced by Naughty Dog and Dark Horse, packs a surprising amount of visual storytelling into a compact format. It's the kind of book you'll actually flip through more than once. A Naughty Dog and Pirate Sigil sticker sheet adds a small tactile bonus, while the multiplayer extras, including the Heist Drake outfit and Snow Weapon Skin, gave early adopters some swagger online. This is the Special Edition, not the Collector's Edition, which means no statue, but that's actually the point. For collectors who value clean shelf presence over bulk, who want the art and the craftsmanship without the footprint, the Special Edition hits a sweet spot. That Iaccarino SteelBook alone has become one of the more sought-after cases from the PS4 generation. Sometimes less really is the flex.
