Two Worlds arrived on the 360 with big ambitions and an even bigger special edition. The Two Worlds Royal Edition bundled a branded T-shirt, exclusive Two Worlds cards, a full card game featuring Two Worlds design elements, and a DVD containing a making-of documentary and the game's soundtrack. Yes, they made an actual card game.

That's the kind of commitment to world-building that separates a forgettable special edition from a genuinely interesting collector's piece. Two Worlds caught plenty of heat at launch, but time has been kinder to it than critics were, and the Royal Edition's extras have aged into legitimate curiosities. The card game alone is a conversation piece that most collectors won't expect to find inside a 360 box.

The making-of documentary captures the developers' vision at its most optimistic, before reviews landed, which gives it an earnest quality that's hard not to appreciate. For collectors who chase the weird and wonderful corners of the 360 library, the Royal Edition delivers personality that bigger franchises rarely bothered with.
