Sometimes a publisher looks at a military shooter and thinks, "You know what this needs? A toy rocket launcher." And honestly, they weren't wrong. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier The Ultimate Edition on Playstation 3 takes the already upgraded Signature Edition game and packages it inside a large cardboard box alongside a toy rocket launcher, a "Ghost" target, and a poster.

Ghost Recon Future Soldier pushed the tactical shooter formula forward with optical camouflage, drone mechanics, and a co-op campaign that felt genuinely built for teamwork. It was peak Clancy era on the PS3, bridging the gap between the old-school Ghost Recon philosophy and the more cinematic direction Ubisoft was heading.

The Ultimate Edition is a shelf piece with personality. That rocket launcher and target set give the whole package a playful, almost promotional energy that most collector's editions never attempt. It's not a statue. It's not a steelbook. It's a toy you could theoretically aim at your buddy during a co-op session. The oversized box has real display presence, and the Signature Edition game inside means all the bonus DLC content comes included.

For PS3 collectors who appreciate editions that took a creative swing instead of playing it safe, this one delivers. It's military hardware with a sense of humor, and that combination doesn't come around often.
