Molag Bal stands twelve inches tall on your shelf, and honestly, that's exactly the kind of energy the Daedric Prince of domination should bring to a collector's edition. The Elder Scrolls Online Imperial Edition on PlayStation 4 is one of the most loaded packages the franchise has ever produced, anchored by that imposing Molag Bal statue that looks like it crawled straight out of Coldharbour. The steelbook keeps the disc housed in appropriately regal fashion, but the real depth here is on paper.

A printed map of Tamriel details alliance-controlled zones and the contested prize of Cyrodiil, giving you a war-room planning tool that doubles as wall art. Then there's the Emperor's Guide to Tamriel, a 224-page illustrated guide annotated by the Imperial scholar Flaccus Terentius, written with the kind of in-universe voice that makes Elder Scrolls lore so absurdly compelling. This isn't a strategy guide.

It's a book that belongs on a shelf next to actual fantasy literature. The digital content unlocks the Imperial race for any alliance, a White Imperial Horse, the beloved Mudcrab vanity pet, and the Rings of Mara for leveling with a partner. ESO has evolved dramatically since launch, which makes this original Imperial Edition a snapshot of the game's ambitious beginnings.

The statue, the book, and the map together create a package that feels less like a game bundle and more like an artifact from Tamriel itself. For Elder Scrolls collectors, this is foundational.
