Jackie Estacado didn't ask for demon arms. You didn't ask to need every variant of The Darkness II Limited Edition for Xbox 360. And yet here we both are. This standard Limited Edition packs the same strong set of extras that made the franchise's second outing a collector-friendly release during one of the 360's most competitive years for shooters.

The "Crazy Abdul" darkling outfit brings some absurd personality to your demonic sidekick, which is saying something for a creature that already eats hearts for fun. Speaking of which, the Gourmet Hearts upgrade turns that habit into a genuine gameplay loop with bonus rewards, while Relic Hunter helps completionists track down every hidden item in the world. It's DLC that actually changes how you play, not just a skin pack.

Marc Silvestri's custom illustration connects the game back to its Top Cow comic roots, a reminder that The Darkness was telling stories about cursed mob enforcers long before it became a shooter. The digital comics, Origins Volume 1 and Volume 2, let you dig into that history without hunting down physical issues. For a franchise that lives at the intersection of horror, action, and comic book storytelling, this edition covers all three angles. The Darkness II remains one of the most underappreciated shooters on the 360, and its Limited Edition reflects a publisher that believed in the product. That kind of confidence ages well.
