Switch Limited Run #204: Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties: Definitive Edition

There are bad games, and then there are legendarily bad games that loop back around to being essential. Switch Limited Run #204: Plumbers Don't Wear Ties Definitive Edition for the Nintendo Switch is the latter, preserved on a region-free physical cart for those of us who appreciate gaming history in all its questionable glory. Originally released in 1993 as a 3DO "interactive movie" that was barely interactive and hardly a movie, this is the kind of artifact that belongs in a museum.
Or at least on your shelf, which honestly serves the same purpose. The Definitive Edition doesn't just slap the original mess onto a cartridge. It includes 4K remastered photos, documentary content, and interviews with the cast, including leading lady Jeanne Basone.
It's a genuine preservation effort for a game most people only know from angry YouTube reviews. This is a conversation starter disguised as a Switch cartridge. " This is that piece.
Own it. Display it proudly. Let it confuse everyone who sees it.
