I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream - Collector's Edition (Mac)

NINTENDO SWITCH
I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream - Collector's Edition (Mac)
Limited Run Games

Harlan Ellison wrote a story about the last humans alive being tortured by a god-like computer, and somehow it became a point-and-click adventure game. Even better, it became a collector's edition. I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream Collector's Edition for Mac is limited to just 340 copies worldwide, making it one of the rarest physical releases in the adventure game collecting space.

The contents read like a checklist of everything a horror collector could want. The Abomination statue is the centerpiece, a physical manifestation of the game's nightmarish imagery that demands a prominent display spot. The "HATE" USB drive is a brilliantly on-brand storage device that references AM's singular obsession. A mouse pad featuring the original cover art, a foil sticker, a face mask, and an individually numbered 8" x 10" lithograph fill out the rest. The original physical release of the game on disc with manual is included, of course, because the game itself remains one of the most disturbing and thought-provoking adventures ever created. Five characters, each carrying their darkest secrets, trapped underground by an insane supercomputer. At 340 copies, this is the kind of release that defines a collection.
