Star Wars The Force Unleashed II Collector's Edition
Starkiller pulled a Star Destroyer out of the sky, but this collector's edition might pull your wallet out of your pocket just as forcefully. The Star Wars The Force Unleashed II Collector's Edition for Xbox 360 packs exclusive in-game content including three challenge mode levels, the Ralph McQuarrie concept "Deak Starkiller" skin, and a lightsaber crystal. The crown jewel, though, is the Mimobot USB Designer Drive preloaded with bonus content.
The McQuarrie skin deserves special attention. Ralph McQuarrie's original concept art defined the visual language of Star Wars before a single frame was filmed, and wearing that "Deak Starkiller" design in-game is basically a love letter to the franchise's earliest creative DNA. The Mimobot drive was peak late-2000s collector culture, a designer USB stick shaped like a Star Wars character that was genuinely fun to display.
In the 360 era, physical bonus items like this felt like real added value rather than an afterthought. The Force Unleashed II had a divisive reception among fans, which makes this CE an interesting collector's piece. The game itself became a footnote, but the physical goods tell a different story.
That McQuarrie connection and the Mimobot's novelty factor give this edition staying power on the shelf long after the campaign credits rolled.
