Alfa System's triumphant return to the genre after a twelve-year hiatus gave us a shmup where five sisters battle each other for the right to marry an angel, and somehow it works brilliantly.

The Tension Bonus System rewards proximity to danger, multiplying your score and coin drops the closer you fly to enemy bullets. The Powershot System layers on additional depth, converting normal attacks into devastating strikes when the pressure peaks. For PS4 collectors building out a physical shmup library, this is essential.
