Sacred 2: Fallen Angel Collector's Edition

Sacred 2 was already a sprawling loot-driven epic, but the Collector's Edition turned it into something worth worshipping. The Sacred 2: Fallen Angel Collector's Edition on PlayStation 3 bundles Ascaron's massive action RPG with a 10cm Seraphim figurine, a double-sided poster and map of Ancaria, and an audio CD featuring the game's soundtrack. For a console port of a deeply European hack-and-slash RPG, this CE went surprisingly hard on the physical goods.

The Seraphim figurine is the centerpiece, a detailed sculpt of the angelic warrior class in her ornate armor that looks far more premium than most pack-in figures from 2009. The double-sided poster pulls double duty as both wall decor and a functional map of the game's enormous open world, which was one of the largest in the genre at the time. Sacred 2 occupied that odd, wonderful space in PS3 history where ambitious PC RPGs were making the jump to consoles and bringing their dedicated fanbases along for the ride.

This CE didn't sell in massive numbers, which makes it a genuinely uncommon find today. If you're the type of collector who gravitates toward deep-cut RPGs rather than mainstream blockbusters, this one belongs in your library.
