Risen 2 Dark Waters (Keg Edition)

An 18-inch gnome figure. A pirate flag. A metal voodoo amulet.

If you didn't know this was a video game collector's edition, you'd think someone raided an eccentric antique shop. The Risen 2: Dark Waters Keg Edition for PC is one of those beautifully excessive packages that Piranha Bytes fans live for. The gnome Jaffar figure is the undeniable showpiece, standing a foot and a half tall and demanding attention on any display shelf.

Beyond that, you get a soundtrack CD, a "Making of" DVD, a set of prints titled "The Art of Risen 2," a large fold-out map of the game world, an A1-size poster, three pirate stickers, the pirate flag, the metal voodoo amulet, and an illustrated guide. That's not a collector's edition. That's a pirate starter kit.

The craftsmanship on the amulet and the sheer size of the Jaffar figure put this in a different tier from the standard "steelbook and art cards" approach. European RPG collector's editions from this era had a habit of going absurdly hard with physical goods, and the Keg Edition is a prime example. If you're building a shelf dedicated to deep-cut PC RPGs, this one commands attention.
