Penny Arcade drew a comic for this. That alone should get your attention. The Prinny Can I Really Be the Hero? Premium Box Set for PSP comes in a cardboard box and bundles the standard edition with a soundtrack CD and a comic created by the Penny Arcade team. It's the kind of crossover that only happens when a publisher genuinely understands its community.

Prinny's solo outing was a brutal, hilarious platformer that took the Disgaea universe's most expendable character and gave him a thousand lives to burn through. The PSP was the perfect home for it, portable enough to grind through on the go, punishing enough to make you close the system in frustration. The soundtrack CD captures that energy, mixing the comedic tone with surprisingly solid compositions.

The Premium Box Set is the foundation of the Prinny collector's editions. It's what gets bundled into the larger sets, which means finding it standalone and complete has its own appeal. The cardboard box gives it shelf presence that the standard UMD case can't compete with, and the Penny Arcade comic is genuinely unique. This wasn't a throwaway pack-in. It was a collaboration that spoke directly to the crossover between webcomic culture and niche JRPG fandom in the late 2000s.

Clean copies with the comic and CD intact are the ones worth chasing.
