Perfect Dark Zero Limited Collector's Edition

Rare's return to the Perfect Dark franchise arrived wrapped in metal, and that's exactly how Joanna Dark would have wanted it. The Perfect Dark Zero Limited Collector's Edition on Xbox 360 comes housed in a two-disc MetalPak case (not a SteelBook, for you purists keeping track) with a plastic sleeve that gives the whole package a premium, tactical feel befitting the game's espionage themes.

Inside you'll find a bonus game disc loaded with behind-the-scenes footage, trailers, gamerpics, and themes. There's a paperback comic book expanding the Perfect Dark universe, a weapons guide for the tactically obsessed, and here's where it gets interesting: a limited edition Glyph card. Nine different designs exist, and each copy of the game includes just one, chosen at random. That randomized element turns every sealed copy into a small mystery, and for completionists, it means tracking down all nine variants is a genuine collecting challenge.

As a launch-window 360 title, Perfect Dark Zero occupies a unique spot in collector history. It represents that wild optimism of a new console generation, when Rare was still synonymous with prestige and we all believed this would be the next GoldenEye. The MetalPak catches light beautifully on a shelf, and those Glyph cards add a layer of scarcity that most launch titles simply don't have. This is a collector's piece with built-in depth.
