Mad Stalker: Full Metal Forth (Mega Drive Compatible Game)
Strictly Limited Games

A PAL Mega Drive cartridge of a game that never officially existed on the platform. Mad Stalker: Full Metal Forth for Mega Drive is Strictly Limited Games' standard PAL release, capped at 700 copies worldwide with a manual included. For European Mega Drive collectors, this is uncharted territory.

Mad Stalker launched on the X68000 in Japan and stayed there. No PAL release. No import-friendly workarounds.

Just a game that existed in a parallel universe of Japanese home computing while we were wearing out our copies of Golden Axe and Altered Beast. Now it's here, on a real cartridge, ready for your original hardware. The game puts you in a mech called Hound Dog and sends you through six stages of Artemis City.

The combat mechanics pull from 2D fighting games, giving each encounter a weight and precision that separates Mad Stalker from the crowd. Boss fights are genuine tests of skill rather than pattern-memorized formalities. The versus mode, where both players pilot boss mechs, adds replay value that most retro brawlers can only dream about.

Seven hundred copies across the entire PAL territory is thin. Mega Drive collecting in Europe has its own distinct character, its own grails and hidden gems, and Mad Stalker slots right into that tradition. A previously impossible-to-own title, now sitting on a real cartridge with a proper manual.

That's what this hobby is about.
