Sometimes a collector's edition isn't a box of physical goods. Sometimes it's a mountain of digital content stacked so high you'll never see the bottom. The LittleBigPlanet 2 Extras Edition on Playstation 3 is a DLC avalanche packed into a single retail release, bundling three bonus level packs, the Muppets Premium Level Kit, the Cross Controller Pack, the Rise of the Cakeling Move Pack, and an absurd number of costume packs spanning Muppets, sports, deep sea adventures, dogs, cats, and weekend pursuits.

If you played LBP2 at launch and bought DLC piecemeal, you already know how expensive that habit got. This edition consolidated the lot. The Cross Controller Pack is a notable inclusion, representing one of Sony's more ambitious (and largely forgotten) attempts at PS3-to-Vita connectivity.
