The Wii U had exactly one killer app that made us forget it was the Wii U, and this is it. Lego City: Undercover Limited Edition for the Wii U bundles the console's best exclusive with an actual Lego minifigure of Chase McCain, the smooth-talking undercover cop at the heart of this open-world love letter to every cop movie ever made. This was GTA for the rest of us, a sprawling sandbox where you could hijack vehicles, go undercover in ridiculous disguises, and crack wise through a story that genuinely landed its jokes.

The Chase McCain minifigure is the real draw here. This isn't some generic promo figure you'd find rattling around a cereal box. It's a proper Lego minifig with an exclusive torso print, the kind of thing that makes both Lego collectors and game collectors sit up straight.

The Venn diagram of those two groups is practically a circle, and this edition sits right at the center. The Wii U's library is small enough that its best games have nowhere to hide, and Lego City: Undercover remains one of the system's defining titles. Pair that with a physical minifigure that ties directly to the game, and you've got a collector's piece that does double duty on your shelf.

It works in a display case. It works in a Lego city layout. It just works.
