Hunted: The Demon's Forge Special Edition
Some games quietly slipped through the cracks of the Xbox 360 era, and Hunted: The Demon's Forge Special Edition is one of those mid-gen curiosities that collectors are starting to circle back on. This co-op dungeon crawler from inXile and Bethesda delivered dark fantasy hack-and-slash action during a console generation drowning in military shooters, which already makes it stand out on any shelf. The Special Edition on Xbox 360 came loaded with two exclusive DLC packs that actually changed how you played.
The Assassin Pack gave you a dedicated bow, a full bonus level, its own boss encounter, and the Seraphine character skin. Then the Demon Pack flipped the script with the Notch Axe, another unique level, another boss, and the Annunvin skin. That's two entirely separate content drops bundled in before "season pass" was even a phrase we all dreaded.
For collectors who chase the disc-based 360 library, this is one of those titles that gets harder to find complete every year. The DLC codes are almost certainly expired, which means a sealed copy is the only way anyone's getting the full experience as intended. It's a snapshot of a time when publishers still packed physical bonuses into the box instead of locking everything behind a storefront.
If your 360 shelf has room for one more sleeper, Hunted belongs there.
