Guild Wars Nightfall Collector's Edition
NCsoft10/26/2006

A 124-page art book, 36 tracks of Jeremy Soule's score, a miniature Varesh pet, and a making-of DVD. The Guild Wars Nightfall Collector's Edition for PC is ArenaNet firing on all cylinders, packaging the third Guild Wars campaign with the kind of premium content that subscription-free MMO players deserved.

This edition includes an in-game miniature Varesh pet, exclusive Nightfall signature dances, a bonus music key for in-game Jeremy Soule tracks, a "Making of Guild Wars Nightfall" DVD with designer and artist interviews, "The Art of Nightfall" art book spanning 124 pages of Elona's world, and a soundtrack CD with 36 tracks. The art book is the crown jewel. At 124 pages, it's practically a coffee table book, filled with the vibrant, painterly artwork that defined Guild Wars' visual identity. Jeremy Soule's soundtrack, presented both as a physical CD and as an in-game music key, shows how much ArenaNet valued the audio experience.

Nightfall introduced the Elonian continent, Paragon and Dervish professions, and hero-based party customization that changed how we played Guild Wars forever. The Collector's Edition captures a studio at the height of its creative confidence. Guild Wars proved you could run a premium MMO without monthly fees, and the collector's editions reflected that generosity. Thick art books, full soundtracks, meaningful in-game rewards. For Guild Wars collectors, the Nightfall CE is one of the strongest entries in the trilogy's collector lineup, and that miniature Varesh remains a flex in any Guild Wars collection display.
