Green Day RockBand Plus
If you're going to commit to a Green Day game, commit fully. The Green Day Rock Band Plus edition on Xbox 360 does something most music game releases didn't bother with. It includes an export code that lets you transfer every single track to your hard drive for use in Rock Band, plus a code for six additional Green Day songs from the Rock Band Store.
That export code is the entire reason this edition exists and the entire reason collectors care about it. Back when Rock Band's library was the ultimate flex, having a full Green Day catalog playable across your main setlist was a serious upgrade. The Plus edition turned a standalone game into a permanent expansion for your Rock Band ecosystem.
Green Day Rock Band itself captured the band's catalog from Dookie through 21st Century Breakdown, and playing through those albums in sequence was one of the more cinematic music game experiences of the era. The 360 was ground zero for the plastic instrument revolution, and editions like this one represent the peak of that moment. Here's the thing about those digital codes, though.
On a used copy, they're almost certainly redeemed. Finding a Plus edition with unused codes is the real hunt. The disc alone tells half the story.
The codes tell the rest.
