ExZeus: The Complete Collection (PS4)

Giant robots versus alien invaders in a 3D arcade rail shooter. ExZeus: The Complete Collection for PS4 delivers exactly what that premise promises, and it does it twice. This region-free physical disc bundles both ExZeus and ExZeus 2 together, and it's also PS5 compatible for good measure.
The original ExZeus drops you in the year 2102 where humanity's last hope against an asteroid-born alien invasion rests on three experimental fighting robots: Calista, Sophia, and Dynamis. Pick your mech and blast through the skies reclaiming Earth. The sequel picks up a century later when peace shatters again, and those three legendary robots get fused into Minos, the ultimate fighting machine. Both games are pure arcade action. You're dodging hails of projectiles, targeting weak points on massive bosses, and tearing through environments from urban cityscapes to undersea trenches.
This is the kind of game that thrived in arcades and never quite got the home console recognition it deserved. Having both titles on a single PS4 disc gives collectors a preserved piece of arcade-style gaming history that spans two generations of in-game lore and real-world hardware compatibility. For anyone whose collection leans toward the overlooked and underloved, ExZeus is a two-game set that punches well above its weight. The robots are giant. Your shelf presence will be too.
