Empire Total War Collector's Edition
Sega3/4/2009

Creative Assembly didn't just make a collector's edition for Empire Total War. They built a ship master's quarters. The Empire Total War Collector's Edition for PC arrives in a wooden box and includes a stainless steel flask, a nautical compass, a campaign map, a game manual, and the Special Forces Edition of the game with six exclusive in-game units.

The wooden box sets the tone immediately. This isn't cardboard pretending to be premium. It's an actual wooden container that looks like it belongs on an 18th-century warship.

The stainless steel flask is functional and thematic, and the nautical compass doubles down on the naval exploration angle that defined Empire's expansion of the Total War formula. The campaign map serves both as a reference tool and a display piece. For Total War collectors, this edition represents a high-water mark in physical goods quality.

The combination of real materials, genuine craftsmanship, and thoughtful theming makes it one of the more impressive PC collector's editions from 2009. Your shelf deserves a flagship.
