Some games age like fine wine, and Dishonored is the entire vineyard. The Dishonored Game of the Year Edition for Xbox 360 packages the full base game alongside The Knife of Dunwall, The Brigmore Witches, Dunwall City Trials, and the Void Walker's Arsenal into one definitive disc. Arkane's first trip to Dunwall was a masterclass in player choice, level design, and world-building, and the DLC expansions proved the studio wasn't content to rest on the base game's acclaim.

The Daud storyline across Knife of Dunwall and Brigmore Witches added genuine narrative weight that most DLC campaigns from this era couldn't touch. Playing the other side of the assassination gave the world new dimensions, and the gameplay refinements in those expansions made a strong case for Daud being the more interesting protagonist. Dunwall City Trials gave the combat and stealth systems room to shine outside the story, and the Void Walker's Arsenal added tools that encouraged creative replays.

This GOTY Edition is the kind of all-in-one package that collectors on the Xbox 360 gravitate toward. No marketplace downloads to worry about, no delisted DLC to chase. Everything lives on the disc.

As digital storefronts for last-gen consoles continue to face uncertain futures, physical complete editions like this only become more valuable to the collectors who understand what "preservation" actually means.
