Destiny Ghost Edition

Every guardian needs a Ghost, and the Destiny Ghost Edition on PlayStation 4 gave us the closest thing to the real deal. Bungie's ambitious shared-world shooter launched in September 2014 with three tiers of collector's packaging, and this sat firmly at the top. The star of the show is the plastic Ghost replica, equipped with motion sensors, lights, and sound that bring your AI companion to life on your desk or display shelf.
It's the kind of centerpiece that makes visitors ask questions and makes collectors feel like they own a piece of the game's universe. The supporting cast of physical goods doesn't disappoint either. The SteelBook case gives the disc proper housing, and the Guardian Folio packs in the "Arms and Armament" field guide, postcards, and a star chart for lore enthusiasts who wanted to study Destiny's world between play sessions.
A Letter of Introduction sets the tone, while the Golden Age Relics, a patch, sticker, and two chrome slides of the Traveler, add collectible texture to the whole experience. The digital extras include a Ghost casing, exclusive emblem, exclusive ship skin, and the Expansion Pass covering both early DLC releases. The Ghost Edition was produced in limited quantities, and finding one complete with all inserts has only gotten harder over the years.
For PS4 collectors, this represents a peak moment in mid-generation special editions: ambitious physical goods, meaningful digital content, and scarcity that wasn't manufactured but genuine. Bungie built a universe, and this edition let you take a piece of it home.
