Dead Space 2 Collector's Edition

XBOX 360
Dead Space 2 Collector's Edition
Europe

Isaac Clarke's nightmare got the collector's treatment it deserved. The Dead Space 2 Collector's Edition on Xbox 360 shipped with an exclusive DLC code for the in-game Unitology Suit and Force Gun, the Dead Space 2 original soundtrack on CD featuring a full hour of the game's haunting score, a concept art lithograph depicting Necromorph transformation by Visceral Games artist Brett Marting, and a replica of Isaac's Plasma Cutter modeled from the redesigned Dead Space 2 version. That Plasma Cutter replica is the centerpiece.

It's the most iconic weapon in survival horror this side of a boomstick, and having a physical version based on the sequel's updated design gives it a distinct identity from any other Dead Space collectible. The lithograph is a genuinely unsettling art piece that captures the body horror at the franchise's core, signed off by one of the artists who brought those nightmares to life. Dead Space 2 pushed the series into faster, more intense territory while keeping the dread cranked to maximum.

It was a landmark moment for horror on the 360, arriving when the console was at its peak. The soundtrack CD is a bonus that ages beautifully, letting you revisit the atmosphere without booting up the console. For horror collectors and Dead Space faithful, this Collector's Edition is a pillar piece.

The franchise's resurgence has only made original-era collectibles more sought after.
