Brink Special Edition

Brink had one of the most striking art directions of 2011, and the Brink Special Edition for PC leaned into that identity with a pair of exclusive in-game packs that crossover with another id Software classic. The DOOM pack is the headliner here: a Bulpdaun SMG skin, a Cacodemon body tattoo, two DOOM t-shirts, and two DOOM caps, all wearable in-game. The Spec Ops pack adds a Hockler machine pistol, the Sloani mask, a greeneye scope, and a dogtag tattoo for players who wanted a more tactical look.

Brink's freerunning, class-based multiplayer was polarizing at launch, but its visual design was never the issue. The game dripped with personality, and these exclusive cosmetic packs doubled down on that. Having DOOM references baked into your loadout was a nice nod to the shared publisher lineage.

For collectors, the Special Edition sits in an interesting spot. Brink's reputation has softened over the years as people revisit its ideas with fresh eyes, and sealed copies of the Special Edition are becoming genuinely uncommon. If your PC shelf already has the usual suspects, this one adds character.
