Arc the Lad Collection

The Arc the Lad Collection is the all-time-great PS1 collector's edition, packed denser than any CE before or since. Released April 18, 2002 by Working Designs in the United States, this premium box bundles the entire Arc the Lad series across six discs (Arc the Lad, Arc the Lad II on two discs, Arc Arena: Monster Tournament, Arc the Lad III, and the Making of Arc the Lad documentary), plus a hardcover book, 22 character standees, four analog thumb-grips, a memory card holder, and a premium storage box.
Arc the Lad was the SaGa-adjacent JRPG series that PS1 fans in the West never got until Working Designs decided to localize the whole run in one shot. Tactical combat. Branching paths. Wallowing-in-misery '90s anime aesthetics. Arc II is the long one, the dense one, the one that justifies the entire collection on its own. Arc III is the moody late-PS1 follow-up. Arc Arena is the random monster tournament. The Making Of is the documentary disc that nobody else even attempts on a CE.
The 22 character standees are the secret weapon. Paper cutouts of the cast across the entire trilogy, the kind of bonus that turns a CE into a play set. The four analog thumb-grips are the practical extra. The hardcover book is the lore archive. Working Designs at their absolute peak.
US exclusive, never reprinted. One of the best collector's editions ever assembled. For PS1 RPG collectors, this is the gold standard.
