Vesper: Zero Light Edition Special Limited Edition (PS4)
Strictly Limited Games

Light and shadow have never looked this good on a PS4 shelf. The Vesper: Zero Light Edition Special Limited Edition for PlayStation 4 is a Strictly Limited Games exclusive restricted to 500 individually numbered copies worldwide. It arrives packed with collectibles that match the game's haunting visual identity.

Vesper is what happens when a small studio sets out to make something genuinely beautiful and absolutely nails it. Cordens Interactive built an atmospheric 2D platformer where you guide the android Seven through the desolate world of Aryish, using a Drive Gun to manipulate light, solve environmental puzzles, and turn enemies against each other. The art style plays constantly with foreground and background contrast, creating scenes that look like moving paintings. It won the Italian Videogame Award 2022 for Best Debut, and that recognition is well earned.

The Special Limited Edition box reflects that artistry. The companion book, "The Age of Zero Light," runs 192 pages of stunning background art and the complete backstory told through every in-game log. Francesco Gagliardi's ethereal soundtrack comes on CD in a jewel case. Five magnetic sigil buttons, a double-sided A3 poster, and a removable character window sticker featuring Seven round out the physical extras. The box itself showcases Vesper's distinctive visual style.

This is the kind of indie gem that physical collectors exist to champion. Games with this level of craft, released in runs this small, are precisely what make a collection feel curated rather than accumulated. Five hundred copies for a game this striking is a number that won't last.
