The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav Edition

Point-and-click adventure collectors, this one's for us. The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav Edition for PC comes with a Steam gifting key, the game's soundtrack, and a set of character cards. Chains of Satinav is based on The Dark Eye, Germany's answer to Dungeons & Dragons, a tabletop RPG system with decades of deep lore that most of the English-speaking world has barely touched.
The game itself is a gorgeous, hand-painted adventure that earned critical praise for its storytelling and atmosphere. The character cards are a nice nod to the tabletop roots, tangible pieces that bridge the gap between the digital game and the pen-and-paper world it came from. The soundtrack deserves attention too, a moody, orchestral score that carries the game's fairy-tale-gone-wrong tone beautifully.
This is a niche edition of a niche game built on a niche license, and that triple layer of specificity is exactly what makes it interesting to collectors. It wasn't mass-produced. It wasn't heavily marketed.
It existed for the people who already knew why they wanted it, and that's a smaller circle than you'd think.
